About Us
Il Magnolia, restaurant, pizzeria, and B&B in Francavilla al Mare, was born from the dreams of Simona and Massimo.
When you have a dream in life and you've been thinking about it for over a decade, sooner or later the time comes when you'll feel the desire to step out of your comfort zone and take the plunge.
Well, that moment arrived for us in 2018, the year we left a successful and enjoyable job to pursue that dream and avoid living with regrets.
Hi! We are Massimo and Simona, owners of Il Magnolia, a restaurant, pizzeria, and B&B.
The name "Il Magnolia" comes from the title of Chip and Joanna Gaines' book The Magnolia Story, which was a real source of inspiration for us at the time.
When they visit us for the first time, all our customers are curious to know why the word is masculine, and if you've also wondered, the reason is simple: the article implies IL "restaurant" and IL "B&B".
We embarked on this adventure on March 23, 2019, and today we are still here thanks to those who have chosen us and continue to motivate us. Our business is located in Francavilla al Mare (CH) in Abruzzo, a stone's throw from the beach and not far from the Abruzzo mountains; the B&B and restaurant are on a hill, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, where even your four-legged friend can happily run around.
Our desire is to welcome you into a familiar and friendly environment, whether you are staying in a Magnolia room or sitting down to enjoy our delicacies.

The Team
Simona manages B&B bookings via email, customer registrations, invoices, stock, orders and payments, welcomes guests, waits tables, and cleans.
Massimo handles phone bookings, breakfasts, cleaning, table service or kitchen duties, purchasing, and is the handyman of Magnolia.
The team: Besides the two of us, family members and employees also work at Magnolia. They are an essential part of the team, as this type of work absolutely cannot be done by just four hands.
The team consists of people who are on our wavelength and work with us in an atmosphere of serenity and balance, which is what matters most to us.
